Has anyone ever used/heard of 'Banana Water'??

I've been seeing lots of posts on facebook forums about steeping banana peel in water for plants? It's a good source of potassium apparently? Has anyone had any experience with it?

I've been experimenting for a few months now and can confirm Banana water works well as a compost tea alongside a complete fertiliser. For more on it see here - https://backyard-farmer.com/does-banana-peel-fertiliser-work/
